We mention few hair oils on the basis of their effects on your hair. Each of them is easily available in the market and easy to use.

HAIR OIL FOR MASSAGE

1. OLIVE OIL

People use olive oil for cooking, body massage, head massage, etc. It nourishes and moisturizes your skin. It is also beneficial for your hair.

Using olive oil helps to reduce friction on hair, minimize frizz, and detangle the hair. 

It moisturizes your hair and reduces the scalp irritation, which helps you to get rid of dandruff. Olive Oil is loaded with Vitamin E which provides strength to your hair, makes them strong and prevents hair fall. 

Massaging regularly with olive oil can make your hair smooth and silky. Also, it fixes the problem of split ends.

2. TULSI OIL

This age-old herb is filled with vitamins, electrolytes, minerals. Tulsi can help you to treat various types of skin and hair issues.

 It is rich in vitamin K and has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and anti-fungal properties. These elements stimulate blood circulation and promote hair growth. 

Also, tulsi can help you to get rid of Dandruff and other various types of scalp infections which causes dry and Itchy scalp. It nourishes the hair follicles, rejuvenates them and helps to new hair growth.

If you are suffering from premature gray hair, add few drops of tulsi oil with normal hair oil and massage your scalp regularly or you can apply it alternative days.

 3. AMLA OIL

Amla oil

Amla has various medicinal properties and has been used in Ayurvedic medicine for many years. It also called the Indian Gooseberry.

Amla is full of phytonutrients, vitamins, and minerals which helps in increasing the blood circulation on the scalp and stimulates healthy growth. 

Vitamin C of amla produces collagen protein. This promotes healthy hair growth. Collagens helps to replace the dead cells of hair follicles with new hair cells.

Amla is helpful for both dry and oily hair (Use amla powder for oily hair). It strengthens your hair follicles, improves the thickness, and maintains the color of your hair. 

Amla juice is great for cleansing the scalp. It cures the dryness and also helps to get rid of dandruff.

4. COCONUT OIL

Coconut oil is a gifted health and beauty product. People use coconut oil for many years to moisturize their skin and hair. It also acts as a natural sunscreen.

The lauric acid (a type of saturated fat) in coconut oil helps your hair by protecting against protein loss. It gets deep into the hair follicles and protects your hair from breakage from the root.

Coconut oil makes your hair strong and shiny. The vitamins and essential fatty acids naturally found in coconut oil nourish the scalp and help to remove sebum build-up from hair follicles.

Applying 2 times a week can give you amazing results.

5. BRAHMI OIL

Using Neem oil helps you to get rid of scalp psoriasis, dry scalp, and dandruff. The antioxidants and vitamin E in neem oil regenerate your skin cells which leads to a healthier scalp with healthier hair.

In 2011 a study shows that using the neem seed extract helps to kill head lice. It’s because of the azadirachtin content of the oil which makes it difficult for insects to grow and lay eggs by interfering with their hormones.

7. BHRINGRAJ OIL

This oil is one of the best hair oil for massage. Bhringraj oil is derived from the leaves of the Bhringraj plant, also known as False Daisy. It is the most beneficial oil for hair growth.

Bhringraj oil is loaded with nutrients such as iron, magnesium, vitamin D, polypeptides, Vitamin E, steroids calcium. It also contains proteins which makes it even more beneficial for hair.

Massaging with Bhringraj oil improves blood circulation on the scalp and stimulates hair follicles. It prevents hair fall due to stress and lack of nutrients. Regular use of Bhringraj oil helps to reverse premature graying of hair.

8. HIBISCUS OIL

The oil extracted from hibiscus leaves and flowers. Hibiscus oil is rich in alpha-hydroxy acids, amino acids, Vitamins A, and Vitamin C.

There is a high amount of mucilage present in Hibiscus oil which acts as a natural conditioner.

The amino acid helps to promote thick and healthy hair growth. In Ayurveda, Hibiscus oil uses for treating baldness. Hibiscus oil helps you to get rid of split ends and dandruff.

9. TEA TREE OIL

Tea tree oil is extracted by the steam distillation of fresh leaves and wood from these tea tree shrubs. It has anti-fungal and antimicrobial properties which make it an excellent choice for treating seborrheic dermatitis and dandruff.

It helps to clean the clogging of dirt and impurities from the hair follicle. Tea tree oil moisturizes your scalp and prevents it from dryness and itchiness.

NOTE: Never apply Tea tree oil without diluting it. 

10. ALMOND OIL

Almond oil is rich in Vitamin E, potassium, monounsaturated fatty acids, zinc, and proteins. It moisturizes your scalp and reduces the inflammation. Also, Almond oil makes your hair smooth and shiny. It provides strength so your hair.

Regular use of Almond oil protects your hair from pollution, heat, and chemical in hair products. It’s a good alternative to coconut oil. Vitamin E in it helps to fight free-radicals that affect your hair.

Almond oil is very beneficial in hair thinning and split ends problems.
